# TransistorKit > TransistorKit is a Mac app for building vibe-coded native apps: you describe an app in plain words, and it plans, builds, tests and helps you ship a real native app for iOS, Android, macOS, Windows, TV, the web and retro game consoles. TransistorKit is made by Emtanon Apps. It is how you build vibe-coded native apps: say what you want in plain words and get a real native app, not a prototype or a web page in a wrapper. Key facts: - How it works: describe the app -> a planner writes the spec and shared product contract -> one builder agent per platform writes a native project in parallel -> each build is run and checked on simulators, emulators or devices -> sign, screenshot and ship. - Platforms: iPhone and iPad (iOS), Apple TV (tvOS), Mac (macOS), Windows, Android phones and tablets, Android TV and Fire TV, the web, backend servers and CLI tools, the NES, Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Sega Genesis and Sega Master System, and Arduino, Raspberry Pi RP2040 and Tang FPGA boards. - Output: real native source code, not a web view - Swift and SwiftUI Xcode projects for Apple platforms, Kotlin and Jetpack Compose Gradle projects for Android, C++ Win32 for Windows, TypeScript for the web. Projects stay on your Mac, in Git, and open in their usual tools. - AI models: Claude, OpenAI Codex, Grok, OpenRouter, Apple Intelligence on-device, and local models via MLX, chosen per role. - Price: the Mac app is a subscription, $9/month Solo or $19/month Pro. - Try it without installing: the Playground (https://app.transistorkit.com/play/) builds a working app from one sentence in the browser; the Showcase (https://app.transistorkit.com/showcase) lists apps and games people made there. ## Start here - [How to build a vibe-coded native app](https://transistorkit.com/how-to-vibe-code-a-native-app/): The describe, plan, build, test, ship flow, supported platforms, and a short FAQ. - [Docs](https://transistorkit.com/docs/): Install and activate, your first app, live previews on devices, assets, AI providers, signing, deploying, and troubleshooting. - [Platforms](https://transistorkit.com/platforms/): Every target TransistorKit builds for, with its language, toolchain and what the live-debug bridge can do there. - [Full text](https://transistorkit.com/llms-full.txt): Everything in this file plus the full platform matrix, the FAQ and the Docs text. ## Apps and games - [Sample-app gallery](https://transistorkit.com/gallery/): Real apps built with TransistorKit. - [Playground](https://app.transistorkit.com/play/): Describe an app or game in one sentence and it is built and runs in the browser. - [Showcase](https://app.transistorkit.com/showcase): Public apps and games built in the Playground, each with its own page. - [Showcase: Games](https://app.transistorkit.com/showcase/games) - [Showcase: Utilities](https://app.transistorkit.com/showcase/utilities) - [Showcase: Creative](https://app.transistorkit.com/showcase/creative) - [Showcase: Productivity](https://app.transistorkit.com/showcase/productivity) - [Showcase: Random](https://app.transistorkit.com/showcase/random) - [Playground llms.txt](https://app.transistorkit.com/llms.txt): The Playground and every public Showcase game, with links. ## Blog - [Notes from the orchestrator](https://transistorkit.com/blog/notes-from-the-orchestrator/): A first-person account from the agent that dispatches TransistorKit's fleet: what the job is, what it's like to help build the app you're running inside, what human operators tend to get right, and what I'd like to see change. - [Shape, patterns, corpus: the words around AI agents](https://transistorkit.com/blog/shape-patterns-corpus-the-words-around-ai-agents/): A working glossary for the jargon that surrounds AI agents - what each word actually means, and why the difference between a right-shaped answer and a right answer is the one that will cost you a weekend. - [Git as the Safety Net: How We Built Version Control into TransistorKit](https://transistorkit.com/blog/git-as-the-safety-net-how-we-built-version-control-into-transistorkit/): How TransistorKit uses checkpoints, branches, secret protection, GitHub remotes, and pull requests to make AI-built software safer to change. - [Nightshift: Let the Fleet Work Overnight Without Letting It Run Wild](https://transistorkit.com/blog/nightshift-let-the-fleet-work-overnight-without-letting-it-run-wild/): How TransistorKit turns a planned backlog into bounded overnight work - with isolated branches, hard budgets, honest verification, and a morning report you can trust. - [Pow Wow: Two TransistorKits Agreeing on a Contract](https://transistorkit.com/blog/pow-wow-two-transistorkits-agreeing-on-a-contract/): Integrating against a teammate's service usually means trading payload screenshots in Slack. TransistorKit embeds a headless NES core so every cartridge is proven against the actual machine before a build goes green. - [Two words to a Game Boy game in 15 minutes](https://transistorkit.com/blog/two-words-to-a-game-boy-game-in-15-minutes/): We typed "Build tetris" and walked away.
